Top Issues Facing Virginia
As a long life public servant, I’ll bring my 34 years of experience to tackle the issues facing Virginians head-on. I will ensure that our government and politicians uphold our rights, defend our sovereignty, protect Virginians, properly educate our children, enforce the Constitution and our nation’s rule of law.

Defend Our Borders
Our approach to defending the border must be comprehensive. This means permanently securing our southern border, building a strong, physical border wall, enforcing the rule of law, and ensuring our law enforcement and Border Patrol have the resources they need to keep America safe.
Securing our southern border is a matter of public safety and national security. After serving 34 years with the U.S. Border Patrol, I understand the importance of protecting our country from threats in a world that includes hostile nation states, terrorists and ruthless criminal organizations.

A Thriving Virginia Economy for Working Families
As grocery bills, mortgage rates and gas prices climb, working Virginia families are struggling. I believe we need to leave paychecks in the pockets of Viriginans, not the governments. I strongly support pro-growth economic policies, lowering taxes, and slashing burdensome regulations that prevent business-owners from succeeding.
Washington D.C.’s spending has gotten out of control and we are now borrowing from our children’s future to afford today’s bills. What’s worse, these trillion dollar spending packages are being rubber stamped by both Republicans AND Democrats. I will bring fiscal responsibility to the Senate and put an end to radical spending packages.

Educate Children While Protecting Parents' Rights
Virginians deserve an education system that is free from political and social radicalism. Every school must support free speech, critical thinking and parental involvement. Education is a critical aspect for our children's lives, but there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
Our public school systems must focus on the fundamentals, reading, writing and arithmetic. Elementary and primary education institutions that cannot excel in these areas must be held accountable or eliminated.
Parents must be allowed choice and have access to educational alternatives that will be best for their child. I will also advocate policies and legislation that supports our children's education and protects parents rights. I will shrink the federal footprint in local schools and push legislation that keeps radicalism away from our kids. No bureaucracy can replace parental duties or rights.

Empower Law Enforcement,
Uphold the Law
Our law enforcement community provides the safety and security that Virginia’s communities are built on. I will work to support our law enforcement officers and develop legislation that promotes accountability, effectiveness and transparency.
Safe streets promote a higher quality of life, spur economic investment, and save lives. I proudly support enforcing the rule of law, while promoting policies which transparency and accountability. Programs that increase communication and awareness between law enforcement and the people of Virginia are crucial.

Establish Federal Term Limits
Our Founding Fathers never intended for elected politicians to serve for a lifetime. Their vision has been completely lost. It’s time for a new generation of leaders.
Our country is ill-served by career politicians who are out-of-touch with everyday Americans. I firmly support term limits for all federal positions, including Congress. If we do not act now, we may never be able to bring back a government of, by and for the people.

Protect the Second Amendment
Protecting the Second Amendment is a top priority for me. Our founders knew that the right to self-defense is the foundation of a free society, and enshrining that God-given right into our Constitution was one of the most brilliant decisions they made in the formation of our nation.

In the U.S. Senate, I will be a champion for your Second Amendment rights and fight back against any efforts from the Left to restrict your ability to keep and bear arms. Gun control measures that punish law-abiding citizens with misguided restrictions are an absolute non-starter for me and Virginians can always count on me to protect your rights.
Virginia's Issues in the News
One of the most important issues for Virginia parents is cleaning up their kids schools. Inappropriately aged and sexually explicit material in Virginia's schools has made headlines throughout the last decade. I promise to work with parents to clean up our schools and libraries to completely disrupt the disturbing crescendo of the past few years.
